While we strongly support abortion rights in terms of legality, funding, and access, we recognize that there are many other facets of the reproductive rights issue that need to be acknowledged.

We support medically accurate and non-judgmental sex education, which provides women with the information necessary to make informed choices about their reproductive lives.

We support widespread availability of all kinds of contraception; all health insurance companies should be required to cover it, and it should be easily available to the many women who do not have health insurance.
.
We support total access to emergency contraception, regardless of age, race, marital or sexual status.

We support women who choose to use long-term birth control devices or sterilization, and believe that they should be able to obtain these without being subject to unnecessary scrutiny.

We support women who choose to have children. We firmly believe that all women and children deserve quality healthcare, both before and after the children are born. We believe each child is deserving of enough food to eat, adequate shelter, warm clothing, and a good education, regardless of how wealthy his or her parents are. We know that, in the long run, the expenses necessary to support women and their young children are well worth it.

On the flipside, we oppose any policies that negatively affect women's reproductive rights. These include, but are by no means limited to: court-ordered reproductive treatments of any kind, forced sterilization, "conscience clauses" that allow so-called medical professionals to not do their jobs, government de-funding of birth control or safe-sex initiatives (especially when combined with new funding for idiotic abstinence-only movements), deregulation of health insurance companies that allows them to drop birth control coverage, laws that limit minors' access to contraception, TRAP laws, and every pernicious aspect of public assistance that is designed to make poor mothers' lives hell.

We support all women and their reproductive choices, whatever they may be.
